.Travel Authentications
As a member of the United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations (UFTAA) you are entitled to participate in pre-authentication for a .travel domain name(s). Only businesses and organizations that are part of the travel industry are entitled to hold and use a .travel name. A .travel name will identify you as a verified participant in the travel industry. UFTAA is working with .travel to review and verify eligibility of our members.
To register a domain name, you must be Authenticated as a legitimate service and product provider in the travel and tourism industry. When you submit your authentication information you will be provided with a Unique Identification Number (UIN).
When you receive your confirmed authentication, your UIN can then be presented to a valid .travel Registrar for the registration of your chosen .travel domain names.
If you would like to pre-authenticate your eligibility to hold a .travel domain name UFTAA will help you. All that’s required is that you complete a short information form. Just click the secure "Authentication Data" website link below, and follow the instructions you find there to fill in the form. UFTAA will review your data and confirm your eligibility based on the information you supply and the membership data we hold.
Once we have confirmed your eligibility you will receive an email giving you your confirmation number and also providing you with a list of names you may apply to register.
Once you are pre-authenticated you will be entitled to pre-register a .travel domain name(s).
